3rd Annual School Mental Health Awareness Day

School Mental Health Awareness Day is a partnership of KSCA, KASP, and KSSWA intended to communicate the importance of support for school based mental health.

During the morning session there will be presentations from key decision-makers and influential lobbyists. The afternoon session is designed to allow participants to attend hearings and schedule appointments with legislators to share inform them about school based mental health.

Lunch will be provided in the rotunda for registered participants. Please join us!!

We are excited to announce the first joint KCA/KSCA Counseling Conference on March 7-8, 2019 at The Oread Hotel in Lawrence, KS!

Breakout Sessions

This conference will bring you over 35 breakout sessions covering all types of topics that affect Kansas counselors today along with opportunities to network with counselors in various specialties and across all areas of the state. Along with the pre-conference on March 6th, counselors have the opportunity to earn up to 12 CE's through NBCC.

Other Events

Along with the conference on March 7-8, counselors have the opportunity to take part in a pre-

conference with a diagnosis theme on March 6th. In addition, great food, awards and recognition, a silent auction, and the opportunity to take part in the Mobile Painted Kanvas during an evening session, will round out two days of great professional development in Lawrence, Kansas.
